We are delighted to announce that Claire Ruskin joins Pierre Socha, partner at Amadeus Capital Partners, Jamie Urquhart, co-founder of semiconductor company Arm, Ric Parker, former Rolls-Royce Director of Research & Technology, David Hughes, former industry executive and Director General of Innovation at the DTI, and Sir Richard Sykes, former CEO and Chairman of GlaxoWellcome and GlaxoSmithKline, on the Strategic Advisory Board of the R&D Society, contributing to the Society’s recommendations to the Government on the UK Industrial Strategy.
Claire is Director at Cambridge Network, a membership organisation focused on growing businesses through connections, peer groups, events, learning, and help with recruitment. The organisation is deliberately cross-sector, encouraging innovation from the intersections.
Claire has long been part of the Cambridge Phenomenon, starting in chip design and then delivering ambitious technical product developments for a range of clients around the world. She has developed extensive practical knowledge and experience with developing /] products, people, and organisations. She has served on a variety of boards and represents business in the collaborative Greater Cambridge Partnership, contributing to the sustainable growth of the UK. Claire has worked around the world and can understand what makes Cambridge such a special place, creating so many varied technologies and companies.
